Bernard Irving Horseman, 74, a Cape Coral, FL resident since 1998, formerly of Brooklyn Park, MD passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born September 24, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to Bernard and Alice Horseman, now deceased.

Bernard was a member of Grace Church, Cape Coral, FL.

He is survived by two loving children, Denise Shifflett (Greg) of Clarksboro, NJ and Chris Horseman (Kim) of Cape Coral, FL; seven grandchildren, Cassie, Linda, Matt, Terry, Ronnie, Savanna and Jackson; as well as seven great grandchildren, Ronnie, Brianna, Alyssa, Isaac, Mason, Ethan, Simeon, Eva, Jolie, Easton, Mattie, Ellie, Aaliyah and Lilli.

Bernard was preceded in death by his wife Linda Horseman in 2015, his son Terry Horseman in 1983 as well as his sister Joan De Barr in 2017.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Grace Church, 13 SE 21st Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990 with Pastor Wes Olds as the officiant. A reception will follow to celebrate his life at the Horseman’s residence.
