Gerald Allen Helms, 48, a Cape Coral, FL resident since 2012, formerly of Clewiston, FL passed away, Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Cape Coral. He was born June 1, 1968 in Indianapolis, IN.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Helms of Cape Coral; two children, Cody (Michelle) Espinosa of Clewiston, FL and Erin (Joey) Sexton of Moore Haven, FL; his parents, Gerald and Nancy Helms of Pine Island, FL; one sister, Cindy (Joe) Redmond of Cape Coral, FL; mother-in-law, Shirley Kelley of Clewiston, FL; five grandchildren, Jordan, Cohen, Sophia, Hayden and Colton; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Gerald Allen Helms are suggested to Clewiston Youth Pop Warner Football Association.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Evangel Assembly of God Church, 350 South Berner Road, Clewiston, FL, 33440 with Rev. Ralph Dillard officiating.
