John S. Clemens

John Stevan Clemens, 57, a resident of Punta Gorda, FL for the past four years, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL and Norristown, PA, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Port Charlotte. He was born November 18, 1960 in Norristown, PA to Harold and Carol Clemens, now deceased.

John was a plumber for many years. He enjoyed wood working, kayaking, shooting at the range with his son and 2 grandsons, and attending baseball games. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Karen E. Wise of Punta Gorda; four loving children, Shayne Wise (Dory) of Port Charlotte, Michael Wise (Jeannie) of PA, Karen Wise (Layden Blue) of DE, as well as Shana Wise and her companion, Andrew Marshalick) of PA; two brothers, Robert Clemens (Corrina) of PA and Richard Clemens (Debbie) of PA; 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; Elizabeth Kalinke of PA, Jennifer Kalinke of PA, and Cherish Bergandino of PA; as well as Ginger, the dog.

John was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Kalinke; and a nephew, Richard Clemens.

Private family services will be held.
