Richard L. Kinney

Richard L. Kinney, 61, a Cape Coral, FL resident since 1987, formerly of Louisville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born August 26, 1955 in Louisville, KY to Mark and Elizabeth Kinney, now deceased.

Richard was born in Louisville, KY and graduated from the University of Louisville, He was a big Cardinal fan. He worked as a Ford mechanic for the past 30 years in Fort Myers, FL. Rick’s two loves were his son Philip and fishing. He had many other hobbies which he enjoyed, photography was one of the big ones and he was quite good at it. His Florida bird pictures were magnificent.

Richard was preceded in death by his son, Philip R.H. Kinney.

He is survived by his two brothers, Mark Kinney (Jill) of Tampa, FL and Martin Kinney (Kathy) of Louisville, KY; sister, Susan Smith of Louisville, KY.

Here in Florida his forever friends, Lisa Harle, Homer Person and The Tschappat’s all of Cape Coral will always remember what a good man Rick was.
