Virginia L. Holmes

Virginia L. Holmes, 74, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Ft. Myers, FL, surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born on December 8, 1941 in Ft. Myers, FL to Joe and Marie Henley. She grew up in Everglades City, FL and married Jerry Holmes, Sr. almost 60 years. She has three sons, Jerry Holmes Jr,; Curtis Holmes and Paul Holmes and daughter-in-law, Shirley Jo; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; her beloved dog, Rico; and one remaining sister, Connie Stanfield and brother-in-law, Matt.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Marie Henley; three brothers, Joe, Jr., Frankie, and Wesley; as well as one sister, Julia Mulkey.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33916. Interment will follow at Ft. Myers City Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33916.
