Alice Ann Everett

January 26, 1937 — October 31, 2025

Cape Coral, Florida

Alice Everett passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 26, 1937 to Walter and Corine Dumont in Van Buren Maine.

She graduated in 1958 from the Hotel-Dieu of Edmundston, School of Nursing, New Brunswick, Canada. She moved to New Jersey then settled in Stafford Springs, Ct. raising her family and working at Johnson Memorial Hospital.

For the past 30+ years she resided in Cape Coral, Florida working private duty caring for the elderly and Hope Hospice. Everywhere she lived, she gathered many friends along the way. She never met a stranger, just a new friend to discover. As soon as she met you, you were friends for life. She would willingly give you the shirt off her back; never asking for anything in return. If you wanted a quiet flight on a plane, don’t book the seat next to Alice Everett! TMI meant nothing to her as she was an open book, inquisitive and caring to others. She was famous for making her breads and delivered them to friends, her doctors, therapists, bank staff, hairdresser and restaurants she visited. She “ran the streets” with tons of energy and enthusiasm. She was a devout Catholic who worshiped God and attended mass regularly. She will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Everett, sisters Donaldine Sczuroski, Diane Dumont and brother Phillip Dumont.

She is survived by her brother, Walter Dumont. She was a loving mother to her children: Deb Blanchard and her husband, Kerry; Stan Zbierski and his wife, Cynthia; Wayne Zbierski; Bill Zbierski; Allison Bennett and her husband, Bruce. She cherished her grandchildren: Amber Blanchard; Ashley Blanchard Miller and her husband, David; Dalton Zbierski; Joshua Zbierski; Austin Zbierski and his wife, Miranda; Nora Mildred Zbierski and Madison Bennett. She adored her great-grandchildren: Max Woodburn; Julian, Avery & baby-on-the-way Zbierski. She also leaves dear cousins, many nieces and nephews to include Chuck and Stephanie who frequently kept in touch. She also leaves dearest and oldest friends: Joan, Carmen, Betty, Cass, Ruth, Cathy and Sheila; dear neighborhood friends: Debbie, Carol, Nika, Mary Jo & Brian, Sandra & Les, Trudy, Lynn & Bob, and many other friends from church, previous jobs and throughout her life. Special thanks to her caregivers Irene, Mary, Linda, Lourdes & Gloria.
