Alma "Polly" Pauline Butler, 88, of Cape Coral FL passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 in Cape Coral. She was born December 21, 1926 in Cleveland, VA to Johnny and Carrie Powers, now deceased.
Polly had a wonderful life and many Friends. She had owned a General Store, Apartment houses, and Beauty Shop in Abingdon, Edgewood, and Aberdeen Maryland. After retiring she loved traveling and taking tours of other Countries. Polly helped Native American Children, andChildren of the Appalachian Mountainswith Love and generous donations.
She is survived by her loving son, Larry C. Tiller of Cape Coral; three loving grandchildren, Eric S. Tiller, Gregory T. Tiller, and Laura V. Spriggs, all of MD; as well as one great grandchild, Amanda Isabelle Tiller of MD.
Aside from her parents, Alma was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Edwin Tiller; her half sister, Gladys Gilbert; as well as two brothers, McCornal P. Powers and Maynard Okal Powers.
There are no formal services planned at this time.
