Amalia M. Gutierrez Ramirez

Amalia Maria Gutierrez Ramirez, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL. She was born in Havana, Cuba on June 20, 1929. Amalia was the daughter of the late Juan Gutierrez and Amalia San Juan. Amalia was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Goldsboro, NC. Amalia is survived by her daughters, Angelica "Angie" Sabates of Ft. Valley, VA, Maria C. "Nina" Ramirez of St. Louis, MO, and Maria Sharrow of Lehigh Acres, FL; grandchildren, Cindy Davet, Maria Fissori, Christa Gurka, Kristy Rodriquez, Jared Rashford, and Darcy Smith; as well as 34 great-grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Rolando Ramirez and also preceded in death by her son, Rolando "Rolo" Ramirez as well as 10 great-grandchildren. A Holy Mass for the repose of her soul and burial will be held privately at a later date.
