Andrea Louise Tissier

Andrea L. Tissier, 63, of Fort Myers, FL, passed from this world April 8, 2015. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, raised in Devon, PA and West Palm Beach, FL, Andrea was a fine arts graduate from Wesleyan College, class of '73. Andrea, who moved to Fort Myers with her daughter in 1989, worked in the design field for more than two decades where her creativity shone. A devoted daughter, cherished sister, and nurturing mother, Andrea's essence will be greatly missed, not only by those who had the privilege to know her well, but also by those whose lives she touched only briefly. The kindness and selflessness that she demonstrated in her everyday life will continue to inspire those left behind, many of whom considered her a second mother and creative inspiration.

Andrea is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Tissier; sister, Suzanne Tissier LaBounty, and brother-in-law, Jeffery LaBounty of Fort Myers; daughter, Devon Roll and son-in-law, Robert Roll of Wesley Chapel, FL; and Tony Hannah, life partner of 15 years, of Ft. Myers and Key West, FL. In passing she joins her beloved father, Albert K. Tissier.

In lieu of flowers, Andrea's family asks that donations be made to honor her love of cats to Alley Cat Allies (www.alleycat.org).

A Celebration of Her Life will be held Saturday, April 18, at 4 p.m. in the home of her sister.
