Ann Taylor (Keyes) Ringland

Ann Taylor (Keyes) Ringland, a much-beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away September 16, 2024 at the age of 90.

Born August 16, 1934, in Roxbury, New York to Isabella Howie Keyes and Russell Keyes, Ann spent her formative years in Schenectady, New York. She caught the eye of Charles Ringland as she walked past his house on the way to high school. A few days after graduating from Russell Sage College with a degree in Home Economics, she married the love of her life and became Mrs. Charles John Ringland. She then devoted her life to raising John, Kathryn, Pamela, and Russell.  

Ann, adventurous and intellectually curious, was the epicenter of a large and loving family. She had a passion for nature and animals, especially dogs and horses. She also loved gardening and bird watching. Ann was also a business woman, operating her own clothing store, The Silken Touch, on Sanibel Island, FL for five years and was instrumental in the founding and running of Ringland Construction Company in Cape Coral, FL.

A force of nature, Ann leaves a void with her passing. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; sister, Isabelle Richards; and her children, John (Laura), Kathryn, Pamela (John) Seaman, and Russell. Ann will be dearly missed by her ten grandchildren, Charlie (Ashley), Rebecca (Levi), Matt (Rachel), Annie (Ted), Jack (Cassie), Sarah, Kathryn, Hunter, Kathryn, and Olivia.  Her adventurous spirit will live on through her eight great-grandchildren, Jayden, Logan, Blaine, Sam, Beau, Wells, Johnny and Ella.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916. A Gathering to follow in the Mullins Memorial Celebration Center.
