Antonina Catherine Schneider

Antonina Catherine Schneider, 76, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 42 years, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 in Cape Coral. She was born December 17, 1946 in Queens, NY to Frank and Filippina Sgro, now deceased.

Antonina was of the Catholic Faith and Attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. To know her is to love her. She is a ray of sunshine who lights up the room with her beautiful smile and vivacious personality. She is the MOST AMAZING mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who, with her passing, has left a huge void in so many people’s hearts. She is the Matriarch of our family, the life of the party, our “BRICK HOUSE”, she will live on in each one of us forever and will NEVER be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving children, Gina Grable and partner, Michael Suter, Debbie Schiavi and formerly son in law John Schiavi, Joseph Argento and daughter in law Tabitha Argento, and Dawn Silva and partner, Brendan Silva; grandchildren, Mark, Stephanie, Alexa, Joey, Nicole, and Jessica; great grandchildren, Blakely, Noah, Sebastian, and Rowen; all of Cape Coral along with many nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws and a multitude of friends.

Antonina was preceded in death by four siblings, Jenny, Katie, Fran, and Phillip.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
