Archie Earl Shaffner

Archie Earl Shaffner, 74, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for 14 years, formerly of Cleveland, OH passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Fort Myers. He was born January 4, 1947 in Cleveland to Archie and Ann Shaffner, now deceased.

Archie was of the Christian faith and attended Cape Christian in Cape Coral, FL. His witty humor, love of travel and his passion for living life to the fullest will always remain in our hearts. May he be enjoying a meatball sub, a vodka on the rocks while riding his motorcycle with the wind in his hair.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Joyce Shaffner, of North Fort Myers; children, Greg Shaffner of Cleveland, Traci Shaffner of Charlotte, NC, and Tom Shaffner of Cleveland; brother, Gerald Shaffner (Patricia) of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Nicholas Shaffner, Anthony Shaffner, Aubrey Shaffner, and Ambria Swenson; as well as a great grandchild, Mila Shaffner. He was a loving brother, uncle & cousin to many.

Archie was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Shaffner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Cape Christian, 2110 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
