Austin Emanuel Camacho

Austin “Sonny” Emanuel Camacho, 95, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past twenty-two years, formerly of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born March 25, 1928 in Manhattan, NY to Augustin and Agnes Camacho, now deceased.

Austin was of the Catholic faith. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He retired from Kraft General Foods after 30+ years of employment.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Virginia Reed; children, Austin Seth (Denise) Camacho of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Audrey (David Jr.) Maurer of Castleton, NY; grandchildren, Austin Adam Camacho, David Maurer, III, and Amy Alister Weimer; as well as great-grandchildren, Austin Elric Camacho, and Sabrina Quinn Camacho.

Austin was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Camacho; as well as his grandchild, Chrystal Quinn Camacho.
