Bernice Rosanna Snodgrass

Bernice Rosanna Snodgrass, 94, a Cape Coral, Florida resident for the last 3 years, formally of Fort Myers, Fl since 1976, and before that, Long Island, NY, passed away Friday, July 4^th, 2025, in Cape Coral. She Was born April 14^th,1931, in Burlington, Vermont to Rhea and Edward Derway.

Bernice was of the Roman Catholic faith. She was a school bus driver in NY and Florida. She loved doing crafts, water aerobics, swimming, the beach, and getting together with family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Jensen of Cape Coral and Kathleen Harmon and husband Chuck of North Fort Myers, Fl; a sister Barbara Lou Aleman and her husband Santos of NY; four grandchildren, Gina and husband Robert, Nicole and husband Nicholas, Jackie and husband Chip, and Steven; five great grandchildren, Emily, Madison, Constance, Connor and MacKenzie; one nephew Robert and one niece Janet.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by two husbands, Harry Rossiter in 2000 and William Snodgrass; two children Paul Rossiter and Susan Hughes, a brother George Anthony Derway; as well as a nephew Michael Dunn.

A private family gathering is planned.
