Betty Ann Miszewski, 69, a Cape Coral, Florida resident since 2000, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, January, 25, 2016 in Cape Coral. She was born April 5, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI to Arnold and Florence Schienebeck, now deceased.
Betty Ann was of the Catholic faith. She worked at Rockwell International in Milwaukee and as a customer service representative at The News-Press in Fort Myers. After she retired she proudly served on the Board at Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary and helped her daughter as Partner and Production Artist with Triple M Publishing.
Betty Ann was known as a sweet person who genuinely cared about people. She thought of others before herself and could strike up a conversation with anyone and leave them smiling. She knew her way around the kitchen often sending baked goods to show she cared.
Her greatest joy was her family, both human and furry. She battled Nuromyelitis Optica for years and refused to let the illness define her. She never gave up and served as an inspiration to people around her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marnie Miszewski of Cape Coral, FL; loving sister, Maxine Boschke of North Ft. Myers, FL; niece, Bonnie Anderson, nephew, Donald Boschke, Jr. and niece, Michelle Bushar, all of WI; as well as all of her furry friends at Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33904 with father Len officiating.
