Brenda Guadalupe Salais

Brenda Guadalupe Salais, 29, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2003, formerly of Mexico, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Fort Myers. She was born December 12, 1994 in Chiuahua, Mexico.

Brenda was of the Christian faith and attended First Assembly of God in Fort Myers. Brenda, I’ll always remember you my little girl as brave, free, outgoing, smart, one of a kind. Como tu no hay otra, hija! You are my life, my little girl, Mi Guerra. You will always live in my heart and I will always remember you. Now you are free, rest in peace my angel love, your mom.

Dear Brenda, you are my hero. You are the toughest and strongest person I’ve ever known. I remember when we first came here to Fort Myers, that we got off the school bus and some boys were messing with me and you grabbed a stick and hit them and they ran off crying. The best little sister ever. You will always be alive in my heart little sister. Love, your Big Brother.

This is how I remember my sister Brenda! Brenda you will be missed... I know we didn't grown up together but I’m glad we shared good moments and good laughs, you were funny, outgoing and fun! And I just want to say how sorry I am that your life turn out differently, sorry for all the pain and suffering  you felt inside! But I am happy the God has you wrapped around his arms giving you love and peace that you always deserved!! 

Que Dios todo podersoso sane tu alma, mente y corazon y que nunca mas tengas que sufrir "Brendita" como te conocian todos!! Un abrazo hasta el cielo hermanita love your Big Sister.

Auntie Brenda, I will miss you. Will always have memories of the great times we spent, swimming in the summers, laughing at funny videos and eating spicy chips. Love, your Nephew, Chuy.

Brenda, I’ll always remember our last conversation, we laughed and joked as always. We always had fun when we would hang out. From trips to the thrift stores to having lunch together. You were like a little sister to me Brenda. This is not a goodbye but a see you later Felicia!! Love, Jessica! 

She is survived by her loving mother, Norma McDade of Fort Myers; siblings, Maria Salais (David Lopez) of Colorado Springs CO, and Jesus Salais (Jessica Gress) of Fort Myers; as well as six nieces and nephews, Jesus Salais, Monica Lopez, Maia Lopez, Anastasia Salais, Mitzel Lopez, and Sergio Salais.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Salais.

The family will receive friends for a Time of Visitation from 10:30 AM -11:30 AM Friday, February 9, 2024 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
