Carl L. Miller

Carl Lee Miller, 79, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Springfield, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral. Born September 26, 1938, in Springfield, IL. He was the son of Clarence and Anna (Cimarossa) Miller; they preceded him in death. He married Marlene McKittrick on June 29, 1963. Carl was the owner of the Gas House Lounge in Springfield, IL, for 26 years. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Miller; one son, Brian L. (Michelle) Miller of Cape Coral; daughter, Tina Miller of Highlandville, MO; two grandchildren, Garrett and Leah Miller; two sisters, Sue Thomas and Sara Shrake of Springfield, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by two brothers, Nick Miller and Fred Miller. A private family service will be held.
