Carlos Longoria, 56, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, FL passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Fort Myers. He was born February 27, 1965 in Fort Myers.
Carlos was of the Romain Catholic Faith. He was a humble person with the biggest heart. Carlos was very known in the Latin Community of Fort Myers. If you ever saw a man riding a John Deere on the side of the road, that was him. He will truly be missed for his humor, the way he made ever one smile. And that stubbornness, let’s not get started on that. Carlos was not perfect, but he tried every day to do the best he could to care for his mother and be a better father for his kids. Of the four siblings, he was the hardheaded one, the “favorite”. Well at least that’s what they say. He leaves a big hole in everyone’s hearts; he will truly be missed. God has gained another Angel to look over all his beloved ones. He will truly be missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Antonia Longoria, of Fort Myers; children, Carlos Longoria and his companion Francisca Perez of Fort Myers, and Melissa Longoria of Brownsville, TX; siblings, Norma Longoria of Fort Myers, Eddie Longoria (Maria) of Progreso, TX, and Josephina Longoria of Greenville, SC; nieces, Alma, Jeanette, Brittany, and Mikayla; nephews, Jessie, Marcos, Andy, Edio, and Daniel; as well as seven grandchildren, Isaac, Nadine, Roberto, Alex, Valeria, Rosaleen, and Elias.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Deacon Edison Gibbons officiating. The family will be receiving friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.
