Carlos Humberto Cespedes Raez

Carlos Humberto Cespedes Raez, 79, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since September of 2022, formerly of Caracas, Venezuela, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Fort Myers. He was born February 25, 1944 in Lima, Peru to Julio Cespedes Farias and Esther Raez de Cespedes, now deceased.

Carlos was of the catholic faith and attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. He was an incredible human being, an amazing husband and excellent father. During all his life he was dedicated to saving lives as a doctor and he had a gift to help people from the human side too by sharing his learnings and allowing the people to be better every day

He is survived by his loving wife, Oneida Salas de Cespedes of Cape Coral; children, Claudia Cespedes Salas (Juan Carlos Prosperi) of Australia, and Carlos Cespedes Salas (Lusmari Matute Gonzales) of Cape Coral; sister, Luisa Cespedez Raez of Peru, as well as grandchildren, Lucas Cespedes, Julio Cespedes Matute, Daniel Prosperi, and Abbie Prosperi.

A dedication to Carlos will be included in the 12:00 PM mass intentions on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
