Carolyn F. (Callee) Edwards

Carolyn F. (Callee) Edwards, 93, a resident of Cape Coral since 2021, formerly of Naples, FL passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born in Hudson, NY to James and Ursula Fox.

Carolyn grew up in Franklin Lakes (Campgaw), NJ and attended Ramsey High School. She married John R (Jack) Edwards and they raised their four children in Wyckoff, NJ. After retirement she and Jack moved to Barboursville, VA.

Carolyn enjoyed reading and was an avid storyteller. She and Jack enjoyed many trips to Europe, especially to Spain. They even attended the Albertville Olympics. She enjoyed studying her family’s genealogy and Irish heritage. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, Kevin and his wife. Gwen of Cape Coral, FL and Colleen Swierkocki and her husband, Walter of Wayne, NJ; sister, Eleanor Mollo of Barnegat, NJ: as well as seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Edwards; daughter, Susan Meyer; son, John Edwards, Jr., and brother, James Fox.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on August 18, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
