Catherine Claire Miller-Rader

Catherine Claire Miller-Rader, 67, a winter resident of North Ft. Myers, Florida for the past seven years, and a permanent resident of Tallmadge, Ohio passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 in North Ft. Myers, FL. She was born July 15, 1948 in Akron, OH. Cathy was an avid reader and active all her life in athletics. She enjoyed playing volleyball, softball and golf with long time friends and family. She spent many hours at the ball field supporting her grandchildren playing baseball and softball. Cathy spent countless hours in the garden tending to the flowers and butterflies. Her friends and family were her life. She had the support of all her friends and family during her fight against cancer. Her children and friends supported her as she battled the disease to the very end. Her husband, "Nurse Ratchet", was at her side from the beginning to the end, and always in between. Cathy was of the Catholic faith and received her final communion and last rights from St. Andrews, in Cape Coral. She will dearly be missed but is surely playing golf on the best course in heaven with her dad. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Rader of Tallmadge, OH and North Ft. Myers, FL; loving mother, Mary Miller of also of Tallmadge and North Ft. Myers; two loving daughters, Kimberly Anne Bachmann Miller (Troy) of Youngsville, NC and Tiffney June Bachmann Evans (Marty) of West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Edward Miller (Pris) of Ft. Myers; sister, Cindy Thomas (Jim) of Dothan, AL; three grandchildren, Kaylee, J.T. and Kyle; as well as Ms. Kitty the cat. Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth G. Miller.
