Celeste Allyce Jones

Celeste Allyce Jones, 42, a lifelong resident of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born July 14, 1982 in Fort Myers, FL.

Celeste was of the Christian faith. She was a teacher with a passion for education, serving eighteen years with the Lee County School District. Celeste loved her work and was a passionate educator in elementary, middle and high school curriculum. Celeste developed loving relationships with all of “her babies” and did her best to encourage their success in life. Relationships with many of her youngest students carried on through their education and often she would meet them many years later as young adults, reconnecting with a big hug was her reward.

She is survived by her loving husband, Russ Jones of Cape Coral; father, David Boots (Cathy) of Fort Myers, FL, Mother Monya West (Thomas) of Doniphan, MO; two children, Aaron Rabadeau and Charles Rabadeau; as well as two brothers, Shannon Boots of Cape Coral, and Chad Boots (Teresa) of St James City, FL. Celeste had many lifelong friends that she also considered her family. If you were lucky enough to meet Celeste, you were going to be her friend, whether you liked it or not! Her big smile, always positive outlook and love for life made her someone you wanted to be around. She loved travel and living life to its fullest, experiencing as much as she could with her loved ones.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33909. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 PM till the time of service.
