Charles Lewis Bentivegna, 80, a resident of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Beacon, NY, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born February 10, 1940 in Astoria Queens, NY to Charles and Freda Bentivegna, now deceased.

Charles attended Grace Church in Cape Coral. He was employed by the City of Beacon for 30 years. After retirement Charlie worked at Stewart International Airport. Charlie was a volunteer fireman and life member at Tompkins Hose Company. He enjoyed boating on the Hudson river and was a member of the Beacon Boat club. In 2002 he moved to Cape Coral Florida. Charlie enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at Fort Myers Beach. He was also very fond of Corvette cars and had many throughout his lifetime. Charlie was a loving father and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was very fortunate to enjoy a long and happy retirement.
He is survived by three loving children, Roderick Perpetua of Beacon, NY, Tara LeStourgeon (Lance) of Portland, TX, and Matt Bentivegna (Danielle) of Lehigh Acres, FL; brother, Jimmy Bentivegna (Candy) of Myrtle Beach, SC Nephew Anthony Bentivegna of Garland, TX, Niece Heather Bentivegna of Evansville, IN ; 13 grandchildren; as well as two great grandchildren.

No formal services are planned at this time.
