Charles Webster Spencer, "Charlie", 40, a resident of St. James City, FL, for the past five years, formerly of Gainesville, GA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 21, 2023 after a two year, courageous fight with cancer in Cape Coral, FL. He was born August 30, 1982 in Philadelphia, PA.
Charlie was a Christian. Charlie was a beloved son, brother, and a great friend to many. His passing has left us with a deep sense of sadness, but also a profound appreciation for the impact that he had on our lives.
Charlie was a man of many talents and interests. He had a love for the water and avid outdoorsman, who loved nothing more than to spend his time boating/ fishing, 4x4ing, but mostly just being with his friends and family and his Golden Retriver, Lucho. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh, which could light up any room he walked into. He built a tremendously successful business in the insurance industry, and many of his clients became good friends. He had a great reputation within his industry.
Above all, Charlie was a man of integrity and kindness. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, whether it was a friend going through a tough time or a stranger on the street. He had a way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated, and his generosity and compassion touched many lives. Although Charlie's life was cut short, the impact he had on those around him will live on. We will remember him for his warmth, his humor, his intelligence, and his unwavering kindness. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain with us always. Rest in peace, Charlie Spencer. We love you, and you will never be forgotten.
