Charles (Chuck) Lynn Pisaris-Henderson, 56, from Fort Myers, Florida, passed away suddenly on June 4th, 2025. Chuck was born September 7th, 1968 to Charles Henderson and Denise Hager in Fort Myers at Lee Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Bishop Verot Catholic High School in 1986, continued his education at the University of Kentucky, and was a very talented builder in SWFL.
Chuck was a one-of-a-kind person with a heart bigger than him. His quick wit and teasing spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Chuck lived life to the fullest and loved even more; he found his greatest peace and happiness in the outdoors. Whether he was casting his line offshore, tracking through the woods, or spending time with friends in nature, hunting and fishing were more than hobbies—they were his way of life, and the places he felt most free.
Chuck was a man who was filled with humor, passion, love, and everything good. He was hard to not love and even harder to not laugh with. His love was deeply rooted with his family, children, and friends who he treated as family. If you were blessed enough to know Chuck, you know his love was never ending.
His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his spirit will continue to guide and comfort those who loved him; he will never be forgotten. Those who love him will find him in the warmth of the sun shining bright offshore reflecting off the water, in the rhythm of the ocean waves, in the whisper of the cold wind through the trees, in the sounds of his duck calls, and in the presence of all the wild creatures that cross their path. His spirit lives on in the wild places he loved and in the hearts of those who carry his memory.
Chuck is preceded in passing by his mother, Denise Hager and his beloved brother and partner in crime, John Pisaris. Now reunited, Chuck and John are once again exploring the deep oceans, shallow waters, and tall woods of heaven — places that surely don’t stand a chance with the two of them together. Chuck was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who were blessed with the privilege of knowing him.
On his way to heaven, Chuck leaves his loving memory with his cherished family: children, Skyler, Lucas, Ashley; father, Charles Henderson; step-father, Dr. Peter Pisaris; step-mother, Diana Pisaris; siblings, Craig (Dede), Stephanie, Susan (Tom), Anthony (Rebecca), Christina (Matt); loving girlfriend, Dewey; Skyler and Lucas’ mother, Lisa; loving aunts and uncles, Nicholas Darilyn, Diandra, Dustin, Dana, Dale; and beloved nieces and nephews: Chase, Chance (Hannah), Benjamin, Sarah (Matthew), Levi, Savannah, David, and Clara.
