Charles Lawrence Ligon, III

Charles Lawrence Ligon, III, 49, a resident of Richland, GA, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 in Lehigh Acres, FL while visiting family. He was born July 18, 1973 in Ft. Myers, FL.

Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in Iraq. He graduated from Estero High School and loved to hunt and fish. Charles played for the Fort Myers Rebels. In high school he wrestled and played football for Estero High School. He put himself through fire school and went to work for Tice Fire Department. He loved to dance and old country music.  He will be loved and missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Ivy Ligon of Ft. Myers; loving mother, Chrysta Ligon of Richland, GA.; brother, Dustin Ligon (Stacee) of Alva; as well as niece, Greenley and nephew, Grayson.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Ligon, Jr.

A Celebration of life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at The Country Store, 19990 Corkscrew Road, Estero, FL 33928 with United States Army Honors.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials in memory of Charles, to PTSD Awareness.
