Clarence Bredhold, age 86, of St. James City, FL died on Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Clarence was born August 18, 1928 the first child of Edward B. and Verena (Hedinger) Bredhold in Jasper, IN. After graduating from Jasper High School, he attended Lockyear College in Evansville, IN. He married Luella Lechner on October 22, 1949 at St. Joseph's Church in Jasper. They lived and worked in Evansville for many years. They were world travelers having visited sixty-five different countries, some as many as five times.
After retiring from Alcoa where he was a Lab Analyst, they moved to Florida where he was active in the St. James Civic Club, Greater Pine Island Civic Club, Calusa Land Trust, Museum of the Islands where he was membership chairman for thirteen years, K. of C. and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church where he served as an usher for over twenty years.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Luella Bredhold; two brothers, Ed Bredhold of Huntingburg, IN and Ferrel Bredhold (Bernie) of Ferdinand, IN; as well as extended Family members.
He was preceded in death his parents and two sister, La Verne Sermersheim and Marilyn Dorsam.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 12175 Stringfellow Rd, Bokeelia 33922 with Father Michael Hughes officiating.
After cremation, his remains will be interred in the Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
