Claudina Reyes, 92, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2003, formerly of Florida, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Cape Coral. She was born February 28, 1928 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Bonifacio and Anastacia Cruz, now deceased.
Claudina was of the Christian faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook and was a very generous and giving person.
She is survived by four loving children, Israel Reyes of Cape Coral, Naomi Robles of Valley Stream, NY, Rachel Reyes (Alan Borst) of Cape Coral, and Elizabeth Vogel (George) of Merrick, NY; siblings, Cristobal Cruz of Puerto Rico, Jesusa Cruz Burgos of Puerto Rico, Celestina Cruz of NY, NY; eight grandchildren, Raymond, Sasha, Steven, Doreen, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, and Michael; as well as eight great grandchildren, Jacob, Jannelle, Caleb, Isabella, Nina, Steven Jr., Madeline, and Daisy.
Claudina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benito Reyes Rosa in 2009; two sons, Angel Reyes and David Reyes; as well as two brothers, Nicholas and Antonio.
Graveside Services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Coral Ridge Cemetery, 1630 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33991 with Pastor Dennis Gingerich officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
