Clifton ‘Cliff’ George Kelley, 79, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2010, formerly of Meredith, NH, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in Cape Coral, FL. He was born July 9, 1944, in Colebrook, NH to Wayne and Ruth Kelley, now deceased.
Clifton was of the Christian faith. He spent most of his life in Meredith, graduating from Inter-Lakes High School in 1962. He then served in the United States Marines. He retired from Northeast Utilities System after 40 years of service. Cliff was a fan of NASCAR and Football. He rode his Harley with the local H.O.G. Chapter for many years. In recent years, his Corvettes had become his passion, with many roads traveled, new sites to see and people to meet.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Kelley; his children, Karen Kelley of Mesa, AZ, and Jennifer Kelley of Phoenix, AZ; stepchildren, Tamara Mussen (Shawn) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Richard Thompson (Alicia) of Seminole, FL, and Chet Braley (Judith) of Epsom, NH; sisters, Sylvia Keyser (Dillman) of Moultonborough, NH, and Janet Brown (Hugh) of Washington, NC; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as a large and loving extended family.
Clifton was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry Kelley, and Wayne Kelley Jr; his stepson, Roy Braley; and nephew, Todd Keyser.
