Cornelius Fenail Salter, 46, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past ten years, formerly of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Cape Coral. He was born August 9, 1973 in Belle Glade, FL.
Cornelius was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Gail McDonald; as well as two siblings, Frederick Theodore and Jacqueline McDonald and his great grandmother, Fannie Felton and grandfather, Elliott McDonald.
Cornelius was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Fort Myers. He also attended Fort Myers High School. Cornelius worked at Joe’s Crab Shack in Fort Myers for over 10 years. Cornelius was loved by all his co-workers. He always had a smile on this face and ready to crack a joke at any moment. He loved and lived his life to the fullest.
Cornelius leaves to cherish his memories two loving children, Broderick Roberts of Fort Myers, and Corneshia Salter, also of Fort Myers; his grandmother, Stella McDonald of Fort Myers, FL; father, Albert Lee Salter of Belle Glade, FL; three siblings, Terry Salter of Fort Myers, FL, Tamolly Watkins (Jerrod) of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Frankie McDonald (Yolanda) of Lehigh Acres; four grandchildren, Ternauria Banks, Ternaurs Dorris, Prince Salter, and Princess Salter; as well as his special friend, Peacola Barnes.
Cornelius was loved dearly by his Aunts, Uncle, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins; as well as his friends, Robert, Keith, Roger and Mike of Cape Coral, FL.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Apostolic Revival Center, 2100 Barden Street, Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Bishop George Jones officiating.
