Dale Karen Russo

Dale Karen Russo, 87, a resident of Cape Coral, FL, for the past 20 years, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Cape Coral. She was born May 25, 1937, in Port Jefferson, NY to Floyd and Ruth Marshall, now deceased.

Dale was married to Pete Magnoli until he passed on September 9, 1975. On May 3, 2003, Dale married her high school sweetheart, Charlie Russo. Charlie’s children, Charlie Jr. and JoAnn loved her, and they became part of her family.

Dale was of the Baptist faith. She wore many hats during her lifetime as a secretary, nurse and a probation officer, however, her favorite job was cheering on the NY Mets. She greatly enjoyed her home at Gulf Coast Village, and she was adored by many.

She is survived by her children, Penny Lynn Carroll of Charlotte, NC, Debra Cataldo of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Peter Magnoli (Jerome Cherki) of Biscayne Park, FL; grandchildren, Amanda Milano (Joe Milano), Michael Mauro (Jill Mauro), Christopher Cataldo, and Elliott Cherki-Magnoli; as well as great grandchildren, Brody Mauro, Maverick Mauro, and Ava Mauro.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gulf Coast Village on November 18, at 3:00 PM.
