Damian Michael Gonzalez, 23, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2007, formerly of Springfield, MA, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Cape Coral. He was born June 6, 1999 in Springfield, MA.
Damian was of the Christian faith. He was a loving son, brother, and great friend to all. Damian was spontaneous with a fun energetic vibe that loved the game of basketball. He also loved to joke, sing, rap, and dance. He had a contagious smile that would light up a room and bring life to the party. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his loving parents, Elisette Abreu of Cape Coral and Hector Gonzalez of Haines City, FL; sisters, Jael Hernandez, and Ashley Gonzalez; brothers, Aaron Gonzalez, Isaac Burgos, Aidan Burgos, Jacov Hernandez, and Jeremiah Rivera, and his foster brothers; grandparents, Elida Abreu, Hermes Vila, Trinadad Parodi, and Carmen Guzman; aunts, Jessica Vegerano, Shailee Rivera, Sandra Vila, Dawn Parodi, and Ana Sierra; uncles, Johnathan Carrasquillo and Jose Ramos; as well as his cousins and nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 PM until time of service.
