David Lee Brown, 63, a North Fort Myers, Florida resident since 2016, formerly of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in North Fort Myers. He was born November 21, 1961, to Donald and Jean Brown of Fort Wayne, now deceased.
David was a member of North Highlands Presbyterian Church, Fort Wayne. David grew up in Fort Wayne, IN. He attended North Side High School. Dave attended college and became a computer programmer. He loved to spend his summers at Lake Tippecanoe with his family and always was the life of the party. David was known to make sure everyone was having a good time. He liked to travel, listen to live music, and was always ready for a new adventure.
He is survived by his beloved children, Alexandra “Ali” Brown and her husband Blake Coil of Fort Wayne and Chris Treesh of Auburn, IN; two siblings, Holli Roberts and husband Ron of Ft. Wayne, IN and Ronald Brown and wife Julie of Anderson, IN; seven grandchildren, Brayden, Rylan, Ayce, Lux and Magdalene; as well as several nieces and nephews along with his former wife, Andrea Melchi, also of Fort Wayne.
A celebration of life will be held in Indiana at a later date.
