David Leo Keller, Sr.

David Leo Keller, Sr., 85, of Cape Coral, FL since 2004, formerly of Social Circle, GA, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 in Cape Coral. He was born March 25, 1938 in Fargo, ND to Raymond Sr. and Leona Keller, now deceased.

David was of the Catholic faith and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was involved in his local Jaycees for many years. He enjoyed building and racing dragsters.  He loved playing golf, most recently at Coral Oaks Golf Club. He even built his own clubs as well as for family and friends. He and his wife shared their love for many four-legged children over the years. He enjoyed morning walks in their neighborhood park and his favorite place “in paradise” was in their lanai, gazing at their pool. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Lynn Keller of Cape Coral; four loving children, Lisa Starks (Timmy) of FL, Michelle Floyd (Tony) of GA, Sandra Murphy of Cape Coral, and Danny Murphy of GA; sister, Virginia Past of PA; nieces, Marilyn and Mary Katherine, nephews, Gregory and Michael; ten grandchildren, Shelby, Joseph, Ciara, Rachel, Sarah, Samantha, Colton, Bailey, Myranda and Samantha, as well as four great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by a son, David Keller, Jr.; as well as two brothers, Lt. Col. Wendell Keller and Raymond Jr. Keller.

Memorial Services with Navy Military Honors will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the family’s residence.
