Dean Hugh Downing

Dean Hugh Downing, 58, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1974, formerly of Sandusky, OH, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born May 18, 1965 in Sandusky, OH to Robert and JoAnn Downing, now deceased.

Dean was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Fort Myers. He worked in the concrete industry for the better part of 30 years, graduated from Fort Myers High School.  He was an outdoorsman.

He is survived by his loving brother, Dale Downing of Lehigh Acres, FL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Fort Myers City Cemetery, Michigan Ave., Fort Myers, FL 33916.
