Delmar Clarence Miller

Delmar Clarence Miller, 87, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since 1999, formerly of Prairie Village, KS, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born June 12, 1935 in Iberia, OH to Clarence and Leannah Miller, now deceased.

Delmar was of the Methodist faith. He was married for 69 years to the love of his life, Mary. Delmar worked in the Telecommunications Field for more than 60 years. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for more than 60 years. Delmar loved playing cards, especially pinochle and euchre. He loved long walks on the beach and collecting shells. A favorite pastime of his was woodworking. He loved making the grandkids and great grandkids bug boxes, cars and trains.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Miller of North Fort Myers; children, Shelley Miller (Leslie) of Osprey, FL, Tamara Kelley (Dean) of Overland Park, KS, Kristey Badart (Ricky) of Blue Springs, MO, Vickey Diblasi (Craig) of Roseville, CA, Todd Miller (Julie) of Sacramento, CA, and Scott Miller (Amy) of Tempe, AZ; siblings, Wayne Miller (Ruth) of Cary, NC, Dale Miller (Carol) of Galion, OH, and Joyce Bachelder of Coshocton, OH; as well as 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, David C. Miller.
