Diana L. Clement of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on April 23rd, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Diana was born in Chicago to Dick and Jean Ort on April 24, 1945. She grew up in Stickney where she graduated from Morton High School West in 1963 and then moved to LaGrange to raise her family. After retiring from the Chicago Otology Group, she realized her dream of moving to Florida and settled in Cape Coral in 2011
Diana was crowned the Queen of the 50th Anniversary celebration for the Village of Stickney in1963. She was an avid horseback rider and rode the trails around Fitz Joy Farm for many years. She loved the warmth of the sun, training dogs and was an avid Nascar fan. Diana could be found most days reading a book either on the beach or in the pool and if it was Sunday the race was always on. More than all that though, her favorite thing to do was to head back to Illinois to spend time with her grandchildren and cheer them on as they participated in a variety of activities.
She is remembered as the beloved Mother of Richard (wife Holly) Laura, Lisa and Jill. Cherished Grandmother of Courtney (husband Garrett), Christopher, Madelyn, Nathan and Ty and Great-Grandmother to Ava.
She is survived by her sisters, Donna, Debbie, Daria, Wendy and brother, David. She was preceded in death by her parents.
