Diane B. Klepsch, 75 a Cape Coral, FL resident since 2011, formerly of Howard Beach, NY passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Cape Coral. She was born May 16, 1940 in Queens, NY to John and Anna Sowpel, now deceased. Dianewas a devote Catholic and attended St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral. She previously attended St. Helen's Church in Howard Beach, NY.She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend. Diane was a selfless person, and was always a pleasure to be around. She was retired from the DOEin NY, and moved to Cape Coral soon after. She enjoyed cooking, dining out, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles Klepsch of Cape Coral; two loving children, Lisa Valcarcel (John) of Cape Coral and Steven Klepsch (Cynthia) of Howard Beach, NY; two brothers, Richard Sowpel (Joyce) of Park Ridge, NJ and Tom Sowpel (Laura) of Hawley, PA; and two grandsons, James and David. Diane was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Ruzalski A Memorial Mass will be held1:00 PMSaturday, April 30, 2016at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Avenue., Cape Coral, FL 33991 with father John Deery officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to ALS Foundation Southwest Chapter, or Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908.
