Donna Marie Samulski

Donna Marie Samulski, 64, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for the past four years, formerly of Macomb Township, MI, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 in Fort Myers. She was born November 14, 1957 in Detroit, MI.

Donna revolved her life around her family and worked hard to be the best wife and mother. She loved to have fun and her personality and smile lit up the room and those in it. She was a boater for 25 years and met many of her friends through this hobby. She loved dancing and music, especially oldies and Motown. Over the last four years, Donna had been burdened with severe medical problems and fought hard. She constantly amazed people with how positive she remained and how she never gave up. Donna was a kind, generous person who never left anyone out and made the people around her better. She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all. Her husband Mike would like to thank Donna for giving him a lifetime of happiness. She will be his best friend for life whom he will join on the dance floor again someday.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Michael Samulski of Fort Myers, FL; loving children, Melanie Gagnon (Chad) of Denver, CO, and Michael Samulski, Jr. of Clearwater, FL; loving father, Norman Sochowicz of Warren, MI; siblings, Don Sochowicz (Robin Westenberg) of Harrison Township, MI, and Debbie Jacks (Ray) of Warren, MI; as well as two grandchildren, Nolan and Quinn Gagnon. Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Sochowicz.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish in Shelby Township, MI at 9:30 am on December 2, 2022. A luncheon will follow at The Mirage Banquet and Event Center in Clinton Township, MI.
