Donna K. Saternus

Donna K. Saternus, 76, a resident of Lee County, FL since 1980, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Cape Coral. She was born February 27, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Effie DeWaard, now deceased.

Donna was a true original. She always lived to the fullest and did things her own way. After retiring from her career at the post office she and her husband, Ted had many great adventures traveling in their RV. She also loved vacationing with her sisters and being with her grandkids. She will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 51 years, Ted Saternus of Cape Coral, FL; two loving children, Edward T. Saternus of Cape Coral, and Angela M. Saternus of Arvada, CO; sisters, Marie Guthrie (Daryl) of Fort Myers, and Pat Santeford of Cape Coral; sister in law, Barbara DeWaard; grandchildren, Sam and Olivia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by two siblings, Joe DeWaard and Shirley Schwarzkoph.
