Donnie Byrd McKenzie, 68, a resident of Lee County since 1995, formerly of Desoto County, FL, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born August 8, 1952 in Goldsboro, NC to George and Edna Byrd, now deceased.
She was of Christian faith.
She is survived by her loving children, Hope Ingram of Orange County, FL, Melissa McKenzie of Cape Coral, and Cheryl Vickers (Brad) of North Fort Myers, FL; sisters, Betty McCarthy of GA, Carol Jones of GA, and Krista Raney of GA; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Jason, Shawn, and Iris; as well as her former husband, Marvin McKenzie of Cape Coral.
