Doris E. Brock

Doris E. Brock, 87, a Ft. Myers, FL resident since 1961, formerly of Sebring, FL, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 in Cape Coral. She was born September 1, 1927 in Mayo, FL to James and Ada Gill, now deceased.

Doris was of the Christian faith. She retired in 2004 from the health care profession as a Home Health Aide for Lee Memorial Health System. She will be remembered for her caring and nurturing of all that she came into contact with, she was a mother to all.

She is survived by her three beloved children, Wanda Way of Cape Coral, Nelda Worth and husband Ronnie of Montezuma, GA and Jean Cullen also of Cape Coral; three siblings, Christine Sapp of Plant City, FL, Burl Gill and wife Yvonne of Edna, TX and Merle Louk and husband John of Perry, FL; six grandchildren, Frank DeLeon, Robert Cullen Jr, Angela Brizel, Scott Cullen, Rhonda Poulston and Deanna Sheplak; four great grandchildren, Phillip Deleon, Brittany Brizel, Levi Fowler and Bailey Fowler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. Brock in 2004; as well as six siblings.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33916 with Daryl Swearingen officiating. Committal services will immediately follow at the Ft. Myers City Cemetery. The family will received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 11:00AM until the hour of service.
