Duane David Beckett, 64, a resident of Harrison Township, MI, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, while visiting his family in Florida. He was born November 21, 1960, in Detroit, MI to Donald and Helen Beckett, now deceased.
Duane just recently retired as a Bricklayer and Allied Craftsman Union member, which was a testament to how much he loved detail and precision in his life. Duane’s love for hockey, music, and boating remains unmatched along with saluting everyone around him with a “Cheers.” May Duane rest with the sand between his toes and the sun on his face, comforted in that he was in his happy place when he was called home way too soon.
Duane is survived by his three loving children, Sean Beckett (Shelby) of Almont, MI, Paige Beckett of Royal Oak, MI, and Chadd Beckett of St. Clair Shores, MI; as well as one granddaughter, Ellie; his loving Fiancé, Carol Nicoletti, and loving sisters, Lynne Bailiff of Rochester, MI, Denise Zambelli (Michael) of Shelby Township, MI, Dawn Moehlenkamp of Cape Coral, FL, and Dianne Pellerito (John) of Daytona Beach, FL, brother-in-law Michael Morris of Sterling Heights, MI., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Duane was pre-deceased in death by his loving sister Laurie Morris and brother-in-law Jody Bailiff. Duane is now reunited with his favorite companion Armani, who was his favorite boy.
