Edward Russell Baltes, 48, a resident of Elgin, IL, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021.
He was born May 23, 1972 in Park Ridge, IL.
Ed was loved so much by all his family and friends. He will be remembered for his charm, smile, and infectious personality. His ability to recall random factoids at just the right time was impressive. He enjoyed music, going to concerts, football, movies, 4x4 trucks, BMX bikes, guns, shooting pool, darts, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Edward Baltes; three loving children, Devin Scrivner, Riley Scrivner, and Brooke Scrivner, all of South Elgin, IL; siblings, Erica Mickow (Bill) and Eric Baltes (Jennifer), of Elgin IL; two nephews and a niece, Billy Baltes (Victoria), Eric Baltes, and Kaylee Baltes; as well as a great niece, Meadow Baltes.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Baltes.
