Edward Wayne Jones, 68, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1985, formerly of Addison, IL, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Fort Myers. He was born July 25, 1954 in Oak Park, IL.
Edward was a man of deep faith, ordained under Christians Arise Ministries, devoted to his family and friends, a lifelong learner, a counselor, an entrepreneur, a jokester, a guitar player and singer, a farmer, a real hands on guy. He was a solitary man who liked to gamble, fish, shoot, and loved to ride his Kawasaki Versys.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, JJ Jones of Cape Coral; loving mother, Lenore Casement of Bartlett, IL; loving children, Jason Jones (Cynthia) and Justin Jones (Sarah), all of Cape Coral; six siblings, Therese Mealer of Ennville, TN, Dawn Vestal of Boyd, TX, Steven Pelczarski (Irene) of Bartlett, IL, Jeffery Jones of Henderson, TN, Don Jones (Ruby) also of Henderson, and Eddie Wayne Henley also of Henderson; grandchildren, Brody and Cooper; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as Harvey, the dog.
Memorial Services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor James Howard officiating.
