Edwin Chaparro

Edwin Chaparro, 58, a resident of Cape Coral, Fl. since 2013, formally of Fort Myers, FL. and Meriden, CT, passed away Sunday, October 27th, 2024, in Fort Myers, FL. He was born August 24,1966 in Aguada, PR to Ambrocio and Luz Maria Chaparro, now deceased. 

Edwin was of Christian faith. He moved from Puerto Rico at the age of 17 years old to Meriden, CT. He was very adamant to learn English as his primary language. He had many jobs but always strived to learn new skills, setting high expectations for himself. He became a Senior IT Analyst at Peter Paul Electronics. After twenty-one years he decided to move to Fort Myers, FL with his loving wife Ivette Chaparro. In 2010 he started working for Saminco, Inc. as a Senior IT Analyst. After ten years he had to retire from his job due to his medical condition. 

Married to his loving wife Ivette for 36 years. He enjoyed fishing and finding new restaurants in the area where he would enjoy many types of cuisines.  On Saturdays and Sundays, he enjoyed driving looking for tag sales, estates sales, and flea markets. He loved to cook and look for new recipes. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He wasn't into social media and preferred to spend quality time face to face with those he loved. He felt accomplished and at peace with his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ivette Chaparro and his dogs, Yoshi & Skye of Cape Coral, Fl,; brothers, Carlos Arberto Chaparro and his wife (Liz) of Cape Coral, Fl, and David Chaparro and his wife (Iraida) of Meriden, CT; sisters, Elisa Chaparro and her husband (Juaquin) from Aguada, PR,  Aida Luz Chaparro from Meriden, CT; his father and mother in law, (Feño & Zaida) from Aguada, PR; sister in law Yolanda and her husband (Gery) from Aguada, PR; brother in laws Robert and his wife (Nina) from Cooper City, FL. and Noel and his wife (Leila) from Aguadilla, PR. and many nieces and nephews.
