Edwin Jay Edouard

Edwin Jay Edouard, 36, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away on May 7, 2024. Born on December 9, 1987, in Cambria Heights, Queens. He was the beloved first born son of Jacques and Marie Maud Edouard (nee Rouzeau).

Edwin spent most of his childhood in Cambria Heights and relocated to Cape Coral, Florida in August of 2006 where he remained.

Edwin began his career at Home Depot in 2006, starting as an associate and eventually becoming a receiving manager, showcasing his dedication and hard work. Edwin was a sports lover and he was a huge Jets and Knicks fan. He also loved comic books, so much so that both his son, daughter, and even his dog Lulu are named after characters from DC comics.  Edwin loved music of all genres, wrestling and food from all cultures. Edwin became engaged to Shandel Colon of Cape Coral on July 2, 2022 and they were planning to be married this upcoming Summer.

Edwin is survived by his parents Jacques Edouard and Marie Maud Edouard, his sister, Alexsandra Jean-Baptiste, brothers Jason Edouard and Dudley Edouard, fiancé Shandel Colon, son Julius Edouard, daughter Selina-Kyle Edouard, as well as a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
