Elizabeth Ruth Roach

Elizabeth Ruth Roach, 65, of Cleveland, OH, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born May 23, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN, to Robert and Egle Roach, now deceased.

Elizabeth was of the Catholic faith. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She worked at Fairview and Metro Hospitals where some of her strongest and deepest memories and friendships blossomed. She was a cashier at her beloved Pat Catan’s for years where she enjoyed taking care of friends and familiar faces, always with a smile. Ruth was an eternal friend, always mastering the telephone and the telephone book to keep in touch and up to date. The kitchen was her favorite place, and you could always find her there tidying up and ready for conversation. She was a collector of memories through trinkets and photographs. She was most happy reminiscing, relaxing at the lake, taking rides, and visiting friends. True to herself always. The greatest joy of her life was becoming a grandmother. She will be remembered for her ever loving, inviting, and forgiving nature. Her humor and strong will have left an imprint and our love will be eternal.

She is survived by the father of their child, Gregory Jagiella; daughter, Danielle Roach and her Fiancé, Bart Brodacki; two grandchildren, Max and Izabela; sister, Bobbie Roach; as well as niece, Nicole Dillner (Fischer).

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her stepfather, Edward Morgan and sister, Lisa Fischer (Roach).

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 28, 2023 at St. Ignatius of Antioch, 10205 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, OH 44111. Burial to follow at 12:15 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
