Elizabeth Rusciano, 54, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida for the past 12 years, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, in Fort Myers. She was born September 27, 1966 in Passaic, New Jersey.
Elizabeth was born and raised in New Jersey, and she sure was proud to be a Jersey girl. She was of the Catholic faith. If you didn’t hear from her for a few hours, there was a good chance she was at the beach. If she could, she would have spent every day at the beach. She was also a diehard Jets fan. She was known to make friends with everyone she met and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her loving mother, Irene (Roger) Horelbeke of Murrells Inlet, SC; daughter, Ashley E. (Vanessa) Rusciano of Fort Myers, Florida; brother, Gabriel (Johanna) Bava, Jr of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as nephew, Gabriel (Taylor) Bava III of Naples, Florida, and many friends and extended family.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Bava, Sr.; as well as aunt, Rosalie “Cookie” (Anthony) Sansone.
No formal services are planned at this time. A burial at sea for immediate family will take place at a later date.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
