Elizabeth Sessions Lopez Tristan

Elizabeth Sessions Lopez Tristan, 67, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 in Fort Myers. She was born January 10, 1957 in Fort Myers to Allen Verine Sessions (Pete) and Betty Lunger Drawdy, now deceased.

Elizabeth was of the Christian faith. Better known as Diane, Diana, Mama, Mommy, Aunt Dee, Tia Diana, Grandma & Grammy.  More than anything she was a good daughter, sister, mom and loving grandmother.  She was someone that nurtured, loved and supported many.  Diane was the PTA Mom, the Aunt who loved her nieces and nephews as one of her own, the Mama Bear whose home the neighborhood kids hung out at.  Even her children and grandchildren’s friends would turn to her for love & guidance. She loved family and friends wholeheartedly, just as others loved her.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by a son, Pedro Juan Lopez, Sr.

She is survived by two loving children, Alfredo T. Lopez II (AJ) of Fort Myers, and Cristina D. Lopez, also of Fort Myers; Five siblings, Betty Drawdy, Susan Ballaro, Robin Reynolds, John Wayne Drawdy and Tammy Teran; 8 grandchildren, Ray Ramirez, Jr., Augustine Ramirez, Pedro Juan Lopez, Jr., Alyssa Marie Valverde, Monica Ivonne Reyes, Adrian Tristan Lopez, Anna Lynn Lopez, and Gabriel Lopez; as well as 2 great grandchildren, Jordan Jeffcoat and Malani Rae Ramirez.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Fort Myers City Cemetery, Michigan Ave., Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for a Time of Visitation from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916.

Monetary Contributions in memory of Elizabeth Sessions Lopez Tristan are welcome to be given to her daughter, Cristina D. Lopez &/or grandson, Augustine Ramirez.
